The Secret Service says it dismantled a telecommunications threat large enough to cripple the city's cell service systems.
The network was uncovered as part of a broader investigation into threats targeting senior government officials. Officials also warn that the network had the potential to disrupt the tri-state area's critical infrastructure.
John Bandler, a lawyer and adjunct professor with both Pace University and John Jay College of Criminal Justice focusing on cybersecurity and cyber law, joined "News All Day" to talk more about it.
