COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL)-A few showers and storms are still possible tonight/early Thursday morning, but the bulk of the rain is set to move in tomorrow afternoon.

Thursday: This system is set to bring much-needed rainfall. Some areas could see upwards of 2 inches with a stronger storm.

While the risk is low, a few of these storms could be strong to severe. Our primary concern is heavy rain and strong winds.

Friday: Keep the rain gear on hand for Friday Night Football! The rain chances will back off slightly, but isolated showers and storms will still linger Friday evening.

The Weekend/Next Week: Behind the front, get ready for some cooler weather! Temperatures will sit in the mid to upper 80s in the First Alert Forecast. Plus, morning lows will drop into the 60s by Saturday.
