PAGELAND, S.C. (WBTV) - Two teenagers are in custody in Chesterfield County and are being charged after a series of alleged vehicle thefts across the county , according to the sheriff’s office.

Officials on Wednesday, Sept. 24, said a 13-year-old and a 14-year-old are in custody and are facing several charges. The sheriff’s office said they haven’t seen kids this young face these types of charges.

The 13-year-old was taken into custody on Sunday and is charged with five counts of grand larceny, four counts of petit larceny, and one count of credit card fraud.

WBTV spoke with one of the victims, who only wanted to be identified by initials, BYTG.
