SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (Edited News Release/KY3) - Missouri State University set new enrollment records for the system and the Springfield campus this fall.

System enrollment increased from 26,874 to 27,235. Enrollment on the Springfield campus increased from 25,038 to 25,238. Growth in dual enrollment and transfer students, along with stable retention, are the leading factors for this success. Dual enrollment increased 9.1% to 7,778 students. The number of first-time transfer students increased by 2.8% to 1,342.

Enrollment on the West Plains campus is up 2.8% to 1,997. Census day was Sept. 22.

The number of Missourians attending Mo State also increased from 20,699 to 21,266.
