Asda has extended a product recall amid concerns a children's toy sold in its stores may present a "risk of choking".

The supermarket announced it was recalling additional batches of the Hapello Sensory Roller due to it presenting a possible choking risk to children.

The extended recall comes after the toy was found to have a small piece of plastic inside it, which had been lodged into the product during its manufacture.

As a result, the product has been deemed to pose a potential risk of choking, if the plastic became dislodged.
