Seattle placed rookie fullback Robbie Ouzts on injured reserve Wednesday, a day ahead of a Thursday night showdown with the NFC West rival Arizona Cardinals.
Ouzts, a fifth-round pick out of Alabama, suffered an ankle injury in Sunday’s 44-13 win over the New Orleans Saints at Seattle’s Lumen Field.
The 6-foot-3, 274-pound converted tight end has appeared in all three games for the Seahawks this season but has not registered a carry or been targeted as a receiver.
Ouzts must miss the next four Seahawks games after being placed on IR. The Seahawks’ bye will come after those four games, making it possible for Ouzts
