BANGOR - An organization that helps keep people warm in the winter may have to turn people away this year.
The Brick Church in Bangor has had a warming shelter for the past 5 years.
They serve three meals a day, offer showers and clothing as well as having medical professionals come by to help the people they serve.
Pastor Leon Licata says it all costs money and they rely on grant money to pay expenses.
He says they just found out they have been turned down for a grant they have gotten in the past.
The pastor says that means unless they figure out some other way to get funding, they will have to shut down the warming shelter.
" In our warming shelter we house between 60 and 70 people every single night 7 days a week. So it's going to be that many people that will not have a place
