A 13-year-old Queens boy died Wednesday after spending two days in a coma from being shot in the head on his way to school, cops said.

The family of Sanjay Samuel had been wrestling with whether to take him off life support as he lay in a coma at Cohen Children’s Medical Center with a bullet lodged in his brain.

Sanjay’s father Theophilus Samuel and other family members were in the hospital room with Sanjay when he was pronounced dead about 12:25 p.m. Wednesday.

“They did procedures and noticed no brain activity. There were none,” Samuel said. “I was devastated. I couldn’t believe it. Like, why my son? It’s very hard and difficult.”

“You don’t think right and I just have no words,” he added.
