The New York Knicks could be making a trade before the regular season to make roster space for Malcolm Brogdon and Landry Shamet ahead of the upcoming season. With Brogdon and Shamet on non-guaranteed deals and one open spot on the Knicks' roster, trading away one player under contract is the only way to clear a path for New York to sign both veterans.

However, Knicks head coach Mike Brown wouldn't confirm or deny the team's plans for Brogdon and Shamet, but the belief around training camp is that both guards will make the roster ahead of Opening Night, per SNY's Ian Begley.
