PROVO, Utah (ABC4) — An attorney has been appointed to represent Tyler Robinson, who has been accused of shooting and killing Charlie Kirk on UVU campus.
Today, the Utah County Commission approve a contract to appoint Attorney Kathryn Nester to represent Tyler Robinson, who was charged after allegedly shooting Charlie Kirk.
Robinson was formally charged on September 15. he was charged with aggravated murder with the victim targeting enhancement, which is a capital felony, and violent offense committed in the presence of a child aggravating factor.
The Utah County District Attorney Jeff Gray issued a Notice of Intent to Seek the Death Penalty as well.
