Madison Police responding to incident on city’s southwest side

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The Madison Police Department is responding to an incident on the city’s southwest side.

Just before 5 p.m., MPD squad cars blocked off part of Schroeder Road.

Dane County Communications would not give WMTV any information about the incident.

Around 5:20 p.m., officers began taking down police tape and clearing the scene.

It is unclear if Wednesday evening’s response is related to an incident earlier in the day when police responded to a report of a woman with a knife.
