Council discusses parking, zoning codes at study session
The Paradise Valley Town Council is considering clamping down on parking in residential areas throughout the town after receiving various complaints over the years.
During council’s Sept. 11 study session, members spent time discussing a range of parking dilemmas from on-site residential property parking to on-street parking issues. The process is in the early stages and changes to town code have yet to be made.
Community Development Director Chad Weaver said complaints have been raised over the look of the vehicles and where they were parked, such as inoperable vehicles, larger vehicles including box trucks and recreational vehicles or trailers, among others.
