The Reno City Council's final vote to allow accessory dwelling units was postponed to Oct. 8 due to an error.

Public commenter Donna Keats told the council there was stricken text under the temporary uses and structures section that was not in the first version and was not an approved change by the council during the ordinance's first reading on Sept. 10 .

City Manager Jackie Bryant told the council the second reading and adoption would be postponed two weeks so the ordinance could be fixed and have proper public notice.
