With Garrett Crochet so much of the conversation has always revolved around what he could do, or what he might be capable of.

This year he’s finally gone out and actually done it.

Crochet is nearing the end of a sensational first season with the Red Sox, one that’s seen him elevate from a tantalizing talent to a genuine ace. The left-hander has blown away his previous career highs in innings and strikeouts and is a lock to finish among the top placers in the American League Cy Young Award vote.
