MADISON (WKOW) -- State lawmakers are proposing to change the voter experience in Wisconsin.

Some members of the state Assembly from both sides of the political aisle gathered at the State Capitol Tuesday to introduce a series of bills they hope will be discussed in the upcoming fall legislative session.

The goal of the bipartisan event is to remove barriers between the two parties and focus on improving the voter experience.

Democrats are focusing on voter outreach for high school students and prioritizing accessibility training for poll workers.
