PAINTSVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - Johnson Central football is 5-0 for the first time since 2020, and Braxton Perry has been a beast in all five of the Golden Eagles’ victories.
“Before this season started, I heard all around, this is going to be a down year,” said Perry. “Even people I was close too. I just kind of blocked it all out, and didn’t really say much cause I knew what was going to happen.”
In week five, the junior running back/defensive end put on a show, finishing with 25 carries for 251 yards and four touchdowns, which made him responsible for 24 of the Golden Eagles 50 points in their win against Pulaski County.
