SANTA CRUZ — A group of about 35 community members voiced their concerns and asked questions about the proposed multi-townhouse development on Frederick Street, near the Santa Cruz Bible Church, during an online community meeting Monday evening.

“Tonight, the applicant will present project plans, answer questions and receive feedback related to the proposed project,” said Santa Cruz Senior Planner Rina Zhou at the meeting. “City staff’s role, among a number of responsibilities, is to review project plans and documents relative to the laws, code and policies in place, and determine whether the project can meet the necessary findings for recommendation of approval by city decision makers.”
