VALLEY CITY, N.D. — Valley City State University continues to set enrollment records, with more than 1,800 students enrolled this fall.
For the third consecutive year, VCSU has reached a new high, marking a 34% increase since 2012. The 2025 total includes more than 1,600 undergraduates and 164 graduate students.
The university credits scholarships and campus improvements for the sustained growth.
"Almost $2 million is what we're awarding in annual scholarships, and that's for an institution our size. That's just a tremendous amount of support for students to help them attain their degree," said Alan LaFave, VCSU president.
VCSU has set enrollment records in 12 of the past 13 years.
