Aalborg airport in the north of Denmark has been compelled to shut down due to drone activity in its airspace, as confirmed by local authorities.
This follows the earlier closure of Copenhagen airport this week after a drone incursion that the prime minister described as "the most severe attack on Danish infrastructure so far".
Officials have verified that drone activity was detected near the airport, with airspace restrictions now implemented while the incident is under investigation. This development comes as the British Army creates deadly AI drone swarm after learning lessons of Ukraine.
At least four flights have been rerouted, and authorities confessed they are still uncertain about the drones' intent or who is controlling them.
