RIVERTON, Ill. (WAND) - For weeks, Comcast subcontractors have been in Riverton, adding new lines and boxes for their service. But several community members say they have had issues with the work they are doing.

Alex Hafliger has lived in Riverton since he was a child, and recently purchased a home in his childhood neighborhood. He came home from work to an unwanted surprise.

"There was not any effort made at all to notify us that this was going to be happening," Haflinger said. "About three and a half weeks ago, I came home from work, [and] as we're pulling up, the street is obliterated. There's holes dug two, three feet deep and put in every yard up and down the street. The yards are all displaced. There's dirt everywhere."
