HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- The Hartford Police Department is investigating after it said a man was shot on Evergreen Avenue on Wednesday evening.
According to police, officers responded to the area of 22 Evergreen Avenue at around 6:07 p.m. for a possible shooting. At the scene, they found a man in his 30s who had been shot.
The man, who was conscious and alert, was taken to a local hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
