BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- Four adults are being assisted by the American Red Cross after they were displaced by a fire early Wednesday evening, according to a Buffalo city spokesperson.

The Buffalo Fire Department responded to 31 Rawlins Avenue, a two-and-a-half story, occupied residence, around 5:10 p.m. Wednesday.

A fire confined to the second floor caused approximately $50,000 in damage to the structure and $25,000 in damage to the contents, the spokesperson said. No one was injured, but four people were displaced.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
