Sixth District Congressman John Rose, who represents all or parts of 19 Tennessee counties, wants to represent all of Tennessee.

Rose, who is not running for reelection to Congress, is instead running for Governor of Tennessee as Gov. Bill Lee completes the last of two terms.

Rose was at Davy Crockett Restaurant in Morristown Wednesday morning to discuss why he should be the next Governor.

“I’m running because I’m worried about the future of Tennessee,” Rose said. “Tennessee is growing dramatically as a state, things are changing and I fear that if we don’t have an effective, determined leader as governor, we’re going to wake up in a few years and it won’t seem very much like the Tennessee we grew up in.”
