WASHINGTON — A whirlwind week in both the political and entertainment worlds that saw ABC temporarily pull Jimmy Kimmel from the airwaves over comments on the death of Charlie Kirk reached a pinnacle on Tuesday when the host made his return to late-night TV.

But as “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” prepared to return to TV screens, President Donald Trump signaled the saga may be far from over and teased he could pursue a familiar path to fight back against the decision: legal action against the media outlet behind it.

“I think we’re going to test ABC out on this,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social Tuesday night after slamming “ABC Fake News” for allowing Kimmel to return.
