Police say student who brandished knife at Tuscarora High teacher had mental health crisis

Frederick County Public Schools on Tuesday said a student brandished a knife at a teacher during what police described as a mental health crisis.

Katie Robine, a spokesperson for the Frederick County Sheriff's Office, wrote in a text message at about 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday that the incident is still under investigation and that no charges had been filed.
