The National Hurricane Center has recently named Tropical Storm Humberto. The storm is located about 700 miles northeast of the Caribbean. This system is expected to slow down significantly over the next 24 to 48 hours as it moves northwest.

During the 5 o'clock advisory on Wednesday afternoon, the National Hurricane Center has Humberto moving west-northwest at 15 mph.

However, by Thursday afternoon, this system could still be moving west-northwest, but at a speed of less than 10 mph at best. This slowdown will allow the tropical storm to gain a bit more definition and strength.
