VANTAGE, Wash. – The Washington Department of Transportation (DOT) shared an update on the reconstruction of the I-90 Vantage bridge along with some overhead images.

Crews have been focusing on replacing the bridge deck and making special repairs over the past two summers.

Since the project began, DOT said 1,090 feet of the bridge deck have been replaced, with 847 feet completed in 2025 alone. This includes 266 new precast panels installed this year out of the 612 planned.

The construction has caused lane reductions, but the work aims to maintain the bridge's structural integrity, ensure highway safety and extend its lifespan.
