As if there were any doubt, Minnesota Vikings cornerback Isaiah Rodgers has been named NFC Defensive Player of the Week.

This was pretty much a formality after Rodgers made NFL history while helping lead the Vikings to a 48-10 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Rodgers returned an interception and fumble — that he forced — for touchdowns, and later forced another fumble to start a scoring drive.

Not only did Rodgers become the first player in NFL history to record multiple defensive touchdowns and multiple forced fumbles in a game, he also became the first player in franchise history to record more than one defensive touchdowns in a game.

The unprecedented performance earned a perfect 99.9 grade, per Pro Football Focus, the highest grade the platform has ever given to a player for a game.
