Nate Bargatze Knows His Emmys Donation Bit Went Sideways

Nate Bargatze might be selling out comedy shows left and right, and has a viral SNL sketch under his belt, but he’s still an unknown. That was about to change when he got a chance to host the Emmys where… things could have gone better. Don’t get me wrong, the show wasn’t a disaster, and apparently, the ratings were solid. What went south was a running bit where acceptance speeches had to be kept under 45 seconds or Bargatze would peel $1,000 off a $100,000 donation to the Boys & Girls Club for every second they went over.
