TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - More than two dozen guinea pigs were stolen from a local animal sanctuary.

The Lidtke Small Animal Foundation said the guineas were taken from its facility early in the morning on Tuesday, Sept. 23.

The LSAF also said its security camera caught video of two people of interest.

LSAF provides long-term sanctuary for guinea pigs around the Tucson and Phoenix areas, and board members of the organization are worried the stolen guinea pigs will not survive.

In the video provided to 13 News, you can see two young women placing a sock over the Ring camera at the front door of the sanctuary.
