The Sox are doing what’s been asked of them, by getting wins and taking series in the midst of this final gauntlet to the postseason. The Blue Jays have spooked the Sox all season, especially in Toronto, but Boston has taken this series when it may matter most. There was lots of good stuff for me to write about today!

Garrett Crochet: You couldn’t have asked for a better start from him, and he was so efficient against the slumping Blue Jays that he was able to go 8 innings. His final line was 8 IP, 3 hits, 0 runs, 0 walks, and 6 strikeouts. He also hit 250 strikeouts season strikeouts and became the first Major League pitcher to do so this year!
