BEXAR COUNTY, Texas — A traffic stop for an expired registration led to the discovery of six kilograms of meth in east Bexar County, BCSO says.

On Monday at around 1:30 p.m., a traffic stop was conducted on a pickup truck with an expired registration. During a roadside interview, it was found that the driver, Ramiro Torres-Huato, didn't have a valid driver's license.

A K9 unit was deployed for a free-air sniff around Torres-Huato's truck, signifying that narcotics may be inside. After a search by deputies, a large white trash bag was found on the floor passenger floorboard. Six gallon-sized bags containing a crystal-like substance were found in the bag.
