Shreveport, La (KTAL/KMSS) — Loyola Flyers quarterback Bryce Restovich is coming off an incredible performance against Cedar Creek. The junior threw for 325 yards and five touchdowns in the first half of a 64-13 win.

"Bryce, I mean, he's confident without being arrogant, you know, and he has a good head on his shoulders, loves football, loves learning about the game, does fine in the classroom and the team loves him, so he's a good part of the team," Loyola head football coach John Sella said.

That love for the game was passed down to him from his dad. He started on the defensive side of the ball in second grade before transitioning to quarterback in seventh grade to follow in his dad's footsteps.
