COLCHESTER, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - Saint Michael's College announced Wednesday that they have received $120,000 to support international opportunities for their students. The money is an annual grant from the Freeman Foundation, but according to the College, this year's funding is the highest ever.

Saint Michael's Students since 2019 have studied in Seoul, South Korea; Hong Kong, China; and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Professor Jeffrey Ayres at Saint Michael's College said that the scholarships help students learn "21st-century workplace-relevant skills such as global and intercultural competency, leadership, professionalism, and communication across a wide range of academic majors and industries."
