Addi Thompson’s journey into softball didn’t follow the usual path.

The idea of committing to a powerhouse like Michigan seemed impossible just five years ago.

The Heritage Hall standout ace didn’t pick up a softball until seventh grade. With her older sisters, Brooke and Ryan, traveling the country for tennis tournaments, there wasn’t much room in the schedule for her to pursue a sport of her own.
