Henry Jaglom , the independent filmmaker whose work foregrounded the stories of women, focused on the inner workings of the Industry and often paralleled his own life experiences, has died at age 87. His daughter Sabrina confirmed the news.
“My father passed at home on Monday with my brother Simon and I and Victoria Foyt by his side,” she told Deadline.
Many of Jaglom’s best-known films came in a stretch between the early ’90s and mid-2000s. They included Eating , Venice/Venice , Babyfever , Last Summer in the Hamptons , Déjà Vu , Festival in Cannes and Going Shopping . Most of his films from this era starred both Jaglom and Foyt, his second wife whom he married in 1991. The duo co-wrote Babyfever , Last Summer in the Hamptons , Déjà Vu , Festival in Cannes and Go
