CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) -- On the biggest stage, you need your biggest players to shine. There is no player who's more crucial to Penn State's success than quarterback Drew Allar.

The senior quarterback came into the season as a potential first-round draft pick. Now, the outside world is asking for him to prove it this week against his first ranked opponent of the season in Oregon.

Through three games, Allar has 64.8% completion percentage with four passing touchdowns and an interception. The offense is clearly still evolving as the Nittany Lions start Big Ten play.

On paper, it's a rematch of the Big Ten championship game -- a 45-37 loss for Penn State last season.
