Allegheny County police are searching for 19-year-old Tayron Reid after a fatal shooting on Sept. 16 in East Pittsburgh.

According to police, Eastern Regional Mon Valley police responded to a shooting in a home on the 500 block of Ridge Avenue at 10:35 p.m.

The victim, identified as 45-year-old Ta’Ron Reid of Braddock, was found with multiple gunshot wounds and died at the scene.

Detectives said they interviewed witnesses and found that the victim’s son, Tayron Reid, was the shooter.

Charges were filed against Mr. Reid last week and he’s facing a charge of criminal homicide.

Police said Mr. Reid’s last known address was in the city of Pittsburgh’s Hill District. Police said he is 6 feet, 2 inches tall and roughly 150 pounds.

Police added that Mr. Reid is potentially armed and dangero
