URBANA — When Urbana senior Avery Walder flew across the middle of the field to snag an interception with just over a minute left to play in Wednesday’s girls flag football game, she didn’t trot back out on offense like usual.

Walder spent most of the evening finishing the Hawks’ drives in the end zone. Two of her three touchdown catches came a few snaps after Urbana’s hawkish defense pulled down picks.
