Around one year ago, Ahmed Al-Sharaa had a U.S. bounty on his head. However, today he got the opportunity to walk into the United Nations in New York as Syria’s president. Al-Sharaa addressed world leaders and according to the Associated Press, this was the first time any Syrian president has done so in almost 60 years.
