TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - Tucson police continue their search for a suspect involved in the murder of a cyclist after a violent incident on Tuesday night.

The incident occurred on the Diamond Street Loop bike path, south of the Rillito River near First Avenue and Wetmore Road. The victim was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

News 4 Tucson's Jafet Serrato spoke with family members of the victim, Enrique Mercado, who was 44 years old. Mercado's daughter, Paris Mercado, shared insights about her father.

"He was funny, strong," said Paris Mercado.

She added, "He was such a hard worker. He would leave his blue collar job to come do me really odd favors," said Paris Mercado.
