RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — Neighbors in Richland County are speaking out about the shock and heartbreak following the shooting of 16-year-old Joshua Edmonds in their neighborhood.
One neighbor, Avian Marshall, said she is especially worried about those directly affected.
“The neighbors, the problem, you know, cause I know one of them not doing too good because she had to go to work at 4 o'clock the next morning, and it happened in her yard. You know, she had to go to work at 4:30 this morning, so I'm more worried about her,” Marshall said.
Authorities said 17-year-old Paul Henry has been charged as an adult with murder and other weapons-related charges. Officials said the shooting appears to be an isolated incident, but the neighborhood is calling for more attention and safety measures.
