PROVO, Utah – For the first time, BYU football has a player availability report going into a game.

The availability report was released on Wednesday night as BYU continues preparations for its Big 12 opener against the Colorado Buffaloes.

All Big 12 teams are required to release player availability reports for conference matchups. This is the first year that the Big 12 implemented this reporting.

There will be daily reports, along with a final update 90 minutes before kickoff.

Keep in mind, these reports are not exclusive to injuries.

The availability of a player could also be affected by suspension due to academic or off-the-field issues.
