LANDIS — Salisbury won 9-0 against South Rowan in Wednesday’s South Piedmont Conference tennis match.
The Hornets (12-2, 12-0) also won 9-0 against South (3-9, 3-9) in early September, but there were more close matches in the first meeting.
Salisbury’s Meredith Williams won 6-2, 6-1 against South’s strong No. 1 Sophie Steedley in the rematch. They went to a third-set tiebreaker in the first meeting.
Salisbury’s Lola Koontz also won more easily the second time around at No. 2 singles, beating A
