Daniels was termed “limited” in Washington’s practice on Wednesday. He spoke with reporters afterward and expressed a strong desire to play in Sunday’s Week 4 game at the Atlanta Falcons.

The Commanders have Marcus Mariota as their backup quarterback, and he led the team to a victory in Week 3. They may not be motivated to rush Daniels back to action knowing they have a capable backup and that they will be facing a Falcons team that lost 30-0 to Carolina in Week 3.
