CONNEAUT — Restaurant owner David Miller loves to cook, but he’s more than willing to put down his spatula and step away from the stove to give a friend or regular customer a big hello – or maybe a hug.

“I’ve always been a people person,” Miller said. “I offer good, wholesome food and conversation. I like to say love is my secret ingredient.”
