Brian Graham lives by the motto "never be too old to learn something new" as he completes an apprentiship to become a qualified electrician on Australia's largest renewable energy project.
The 60-year-old from Tumbarumba, NSW, now works on the Snowy 2.0 after deciding to try something new at a later stage in life.
Mr Graham said joining the project's principal contractor, Future Generation Joint Venture (FGJV), after learning a different trade had been a "fantastic opportunity and a real blessing".
"At 60, I didn't see any obstacles, only the possibility that other people's bias might hold me back," he said.
He was originally a patternmaker, a trade he learnt after leaving school in Scotland, and has had a career spanning car manufacturing in Adelaide and boat building in Queensland.
