PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A suspect is “down” and no officers are hurt after a police shooting in a central Phoenix neighborhood late Wednesday.
Details are extremely limited, but it happened just before 10:30 p.m. on 31st Avenue, just north of Bethany Home Road.
In an email, Phoenix Police Sgt. Phil Krynsky confirmed that the suspect was “down” but didn’t elaborate on his current status.
In addition, no one else was being wanted in connection to the shooting and no officers were injured in the incident, police confirmed.
