Star Trek actor William Shatner 'rushed to hospital' in medical emergency View Image

Star Trek actor William Shatner, who played the iconic role of Captain Kirk, was rushed to the hospital yesterday after suffering a medical emergency, according to reports.

The legendary actor experienced an issue with his blood sugar while at his home in Los Angeles late Wednesday afternoon, according to TMZ .

Mr Shatner was said to have called emergency medical service workers for help as a precaution and paramedics showed up in an LAFD ambulance.

He was transported to a local hospital to get checked out and it was said he was doing “good” and “resting comfortably.”

The 94-year-old is still busy with multiple acting projects in the pipeline and appears at fan events, including a panel at Dragon
