CLEVELAND, Ohio — In a moment where the New York Giants desperately need a change at quarterback, Jaxson Dart isn’t flinching.

As the newly-named starter for a team sitting at 0-3, many would expect the weight of expectations to be crushing.

Yet Dart’s mindset, it suggests something entirely different – a young quarterback ready to bring energy without carrying the burden of being the team’s savior.

“I’m ready,” Dart stated matter-of-factly when asked about his emotional reaction to being named the starter. “It wasn’t anything extra. It was really just, you know, now I feel like I, you know, it’s, you always try to say like I’m going to prepare each week the same. But, you know, in all reality, you have a different, you know, responsibility as the starter. So, I’m just locked in.”
